Selling your vote for 100 dollars and not getting paid

Voters promised $100 by Musk PAC say they weren’t paid

Musk and the group originally offered signatories, and those who refer others to sign, $47 for their signature and each person they refer before raising the amount to $100. The offer was just for those living in battleground states during the presidential election.

But the plaintiffs allege they weren’t paid the promised amount for signing or referring other registered voters to sign. The complaint states that one plaintiff, Steven Reid, worked as a canvasser for America PAC in Michigan and Georgia and referred “many voters” to sign but hasn’t received the reward despite “multiple attempts” to collect.

Ah - I see he learned from the Sith Master: Do not pay the people you promised to pay, for they are not rich enough to take you to court, and even then do not pay and continue to appeal to teach other peons they have no recourse.

Mf illegally paid for votes and didn't even follow through with the payment. As a billionaire. Actually insane.

Conservatives traditionally view wealthy people as being more intelligent and fit to lead than people who are not rich. It's a false perception, since the wealthy follow the same statistical curve for intelligence as the general populous (about half of are not coloring with a full box of crayons).

Every single non-dependant child he has wants nothing to do with him. Imagine being the richest man in the world, but you're still too horrible to keep anyone even artificially loving you.

If you believed a man like this, you're fucking braindead and I dont feel a single bit sorry for you.

If another country wants to overthrow the US they could just offer everyone $100 and more than half of the country would support the invading country.

Shit talking Convicted Rapist Felon Donald Dumpster Fire Trump didn't write this

Look, it doesn't really matter.

Within the last two days, he suggested military tribunals for Obama. Not that he be charged for crimes, but that the U.S. military summarily arrest and punish a past president of the U.S. for some unspecified crimes.

To be blunt, fuck Trump. Even if he could pull together an ounce of humanity or decency, it is far too little. He isn't some respectable American, nor does he share America's values.

If you think it isn't bad, take a scroll through his Truth Social page (with an ad blocker). Those aren't the ravings of a normal, or sane, person.

Most corrupt Goverment

He's using the title of "President" to fill his bank account & his stooge's bank accounts full of money!

The guy has been mixing his business interests with politics from day one. Remember how many foreign diplomats suddenly started booking rooms at Trump hotels after 2016? The emoluments clause might as well not exist. And now dealing with someone connected to al-Qaeda? The same group he spent years saying Democrats were soft on? The hypocrisy is just exhausting at this point.

And that blonde bitch of a press secretary has the nerve to say he hasn't made a single dollar off this presidency.

These folks have institutionalized corruption in just over 3 months. This is just a jaw-dropping example of how they have no intention to follow the Constitution and how they will continue sell access and policy to the highest bidder.

Just remember - the GOP could stop this - the utter disregard for the law - any time they wanted to.

They don't want to.

Spray Tan Convicted Felon Dementia Donnie

It’s so pathetic the way he just sprays on all the orange. Like doesn’t he realize how bad it makes him look?

It looks bad, but I think he prefers it to how old he would look without it, and he may even be right!

Old people are meant to look old. This just reeks of insecurity.

Everything he does reeks of insecurity. The problem is that where most insecure people eventually fade into oblivion, this choad has had the resources to remain relevant his entire life. Come on cholesterol…. Please be the boogeyman we were led to believe that you are!

Looks like someone had their makeup gun set to whore again.

Declining Dementia Don part 2

Aging, Slurring Trump ‘Lives in Fear’ of Dad’s Dementia

Donald Trump “lives in fear” of suffering the same cognitive decline his father did, according to a brutal assessment by an MSNBC guest.

The political analyst, speaking on the second installment of the show after its debut on Saturday, said the president’s motivation has always been either “self-aggrandizement” or “self-preservation.”

However, the 78-year-old’s vitality has visibly waned and he is acutely aware of his mortality, the panelist added. “As I was watching that clip, you know, one of the things that really struck me is, Donald Trump has aged,” he said.

He’s had it for a while. It’s gradual and not an instant switch. It’s hard to tell because of his megalomania, but his cognitive function and seeking revenge for petty/imagined slights have gotten worse. The weird swaying and singing with the crowd. It reminds me of both my uncle and grandfather who died with dementia. Even his tweets remind me of the structure and content of my uncles anti-Obama Facebook posting from the early 2010s.

You can see the decline in speech since 2016. Now he always says “uhhhhhhhhh” between words a lot more.

He also is conscience enough about it to dial up the bullshit to hide it.

You should read the transcript of his Time Magazine interview from last week. When you read his words, they 10x more batshit than listening when your brain kind of fills in what you think he is trying to say.

He isn’t rehearsing. He clearly has it - look how he is behaving.

He wants to reopen Alcatraz. That makes absolutely no sense at all.

Declining Dementia Don

He's shown everyone who he is countless times. The people are just stupid.

This is why having a “business man” doesn’t work as a president. He doesn’t know (or understand) the law and only cares about enriching himself.

Trump: Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV. Still got it, Donnie.

Here's the thing. Trump thinks there is absolutely nothing wrong with lying. Period. He has no sense of altruism what-so-ever. In fact, he believes lying is a crucial part of success in life and business. In his warped philosophy, if lying gets you what you want, then that makes it ethical.

So, when he took that oath of office and stated publicly "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." it is meaningless because lying is not illegal.

In other words, now in his mind he can rationalize his actions with "pay no attention to that oath, I was lying, but lying is not illegal."

Next comes the rationalizations for the base, it says "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution..." and if he keeps the document in a sealed case, guarded by armed guards, he is complying with the oath of office by preserving, protecting, and defending the papers, while completely ignoring their intent.

Yes, he's that crass and petty to think that the words he said are up for debate as to meaning, after all, redefinition of words and linguistic manipulation are key Republican characteristics, and that they can mean whatever he says they mean because, after all, he is the President and the President has unlimited power.

Same logic that he will use to pre-emptively pardon himself before he leaves office.

That people put up with this nonsense is pretty damn indicative of what social media has done to the mind of many, many Americans.

Health care for all

Where does the additional 18 trillion go?

The world may never know.

(We know.)

If there is a "middle man" he is going to get its cut.

They mean because the right people won't be making money off of it.

We keep it because it makes more money for the right people (i.e. the already filthy rich).

It could be paid for without doing anything revolutionary!

The cost we pay out of our paychecks could be rationalized to a tax. And it would probably go down for many people

Then, the amount employers pay to the insurance company they use would instead be a tax to the universal Healthcare system! The only change is that the tax would have to account for revenue and employee amount (counting unpaid interns and part time) so that companies like Walmart can't get away with paying less because they fuck over employees. So there would be a calculation for both revenue and employees and whichever is HIGHER the company pays

Then, throw in some meaningful price regulations on big pharma and the system is paid for

Of all the struggles to fix in the US universal Healthcare is probably the most straightforward to solve because the money already exists! Hardly
