The both-sides argument is just bias. They are not equal, it’s not even close so they have to constantly lie, distract or frame things inaccurately and with negative intent. The leaders and influencers know they are lying, admit it and defend that when they can’t deny it, and they know it’s rotting people’s minds and character.

They know their followers will accept it and repeat it without verifying it with expert testimony because they lied and made them fear and reject academia. They know they won’t hear the other sides arguments because they lied and made them think anyone who disagrees must be ‘corrupted’, ‘silly’, ‘woke’, ‘has TDS’ or some other buzzword. They know when faced with sound reasoning their followers will pridefully scoff, mock, deny and deflect and make themselves look foolish trying to defend it, and told them all this poison was ‘winning’. It’s not, and they don’t care. They are just corrupt liars and ravenous wolves.

All you need to know about both sides is, it's never used to defend a Democrat. You would think people would have noticed that by now.

WASHINGTON — During today’s House Appropriations Committee markup of the 2027 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies funding bill, Democrats fought against Republicans’ extreme bill that puts health coverage for millions of Americans at risk, eviscerates public education and job training, and eliminates funding for reproductive health.

This bill:

• Puts health care coverage for millions of Americans in jeopardy by cancelling $2 billion for operating Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance plans, threatening the ACA health insurance Marketplace.
• Reduces economic opportunities for working families by eliminating Youth and Adult Job Training programs under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, and cuts funding for the Job Corps in half.
• Kicks 30,000 teachers out of classrooms by cutting Title I grants by $2 billion, reducing the quality of education our children receive.
• Abandons college students and low-income workers trying to improve their lives through postsecondary education by increasing interest rates for 4 million college student borrowers, cutting funding for need-based financial aid, and eliminating job training programs.
• Decimates support for children in K-12 elementary schools by slashing funding for low-income students, eliminating funding for teacher training, and eliminating funding for community schools.
• Slashes research for maternal health, telehealth, and patient safety in hospitals and health clinics by eliminating funding for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and terminating nearly $1 billion from the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Trust Fund (PCORTF).
• Harms women’s health by cutting programs that support maternal and child health, eliminating programs that provide access to contraception and health services, and adding numerous partisan and poison pill riders related to abortion and reproductive health.
• Surrenders to ongoing health crises by making major cuts to HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Ryan White HIV/AIDS program and reducing funding for mental health services and substance use prevention and treatment.

It’s crazy how these “fiscal conservatives” cut so much from programs that help people, but still rack up historic deficits. 

Republicans care about billionaires and pedophiles and the Venn diagram of the two is basically a circle. Fuck every republican and every fuck-wit voting for them.

Gentle reminder that conservatism is a form of social dominance orientation, it's a measure of an individual's support for social hierarchy and the extent to which they desire their in-group be superior to out-groups.

All conservative policies, no exceptions, are expressions that one group should be socially dominant over another group. The reason why it's only the conservatives trying to ban gay marriage and ban adults from taking hormones is because only conservatives actively want straight dominance over LGBT+ people. The reason why it's only conservatives trying to ban abortion is because only conservatives actively want men to dominate women.

So when a conservative sees Trump spending the money they say liberals can't spend, it legitimately makes them feel good, because they don't have real political beliefs, only immediate emotional reactions. Trump's spending on government renovations seems good to conservatives because it proves conservatives can dominate liberals.

Trump's spending on useless wars and handouts seems good to conservatives because it proves conservatives can dominate liberals.

And liberals' spending is inherently evil no matter what it's spent on, because liberals spending money is a reminder that the liberals are in charge, and there is nothing the liberals could ever do that would make the conservatives be okay with not being in charge.

And that is why conservatives have bitched and complained about every single good thing that has ever been built in this country, unless by some miracle it was one of their people in charge: because they don't have actual beliefs, only a constant need for dominance.

 Donald Trump's Iran war timeline changes to another 2 weeks as public anger grows

President Trump, speaking on a tele-rally, says the United States can expect "total victory" over Iran in another two weeks.

"You're really going to win it over the next two weeks when we declare total victory. It will be a total victory and it will happen very soon," Trump assured.

Trump has already claimed victory over Iran at least 12 times.

Trump has previously promised Americans a “full and complete healthcare plan” within two weeks, which was in 2020, and never materialized.

We've heard "in two weeks" since 2015. His fucking tax returns, his replacement to ACA, Mexico paying for a wall... 

2 Weeks is how long it takes to people to lose attention/forget and wash the story from the news cycle. Thats what he's doing whenever he says that.

When ever he says something outrageous and back-peddles it as a joke, he's not joking, he is testing the waters to see the public reaction.

It’s going to be “another 2 weeks” until November when democrats take control of one of the chambers. Then it’ll be the democrats fault for getting us into Iran when it was a GOP Congress and his base will eat it up without questioning it for a second. This stuff is entirely predictable at this point.

Trump began to sour on Welker after she pointed out in the interview that aired Sunday that there’s “no evidence” of rigged elections in the United States.

“Do you have evidence?” she asked after Trump slammed California’s elections as “rigged.

”The president then fired back: “All I have to do is look.”

When Welker replied: “That’s not evidence,” the interview took a turn.

Remember when Conservatives said Hillary and women would be too emotional to become President and unable to handle the rigorous demands of the job?

The courage and composure that reporter showed was exceptional. It's nice to see someone who takes their journalistic responsibilities seriously.

This is what happens to all of them when you press for details on their outrageous claims.

If Obama, Biden, or Clinton had done this, the GOP would be blasting it from the rooftops till the end of time.

Why does people vote for Republicans

 When Will Americans Realize the Truth? Republicans Wreck the Economy.

"The reason is that Republicans peddle an economic fairy tale. That cutting taxes increases revenue and spurs tremendous economic activity. It’s a lie. A fantasy. They wreck the economy. The modern United States has experienced 11 recessions. Ten have happened under Republican presidents."

Economic data has been available to prove this. They simply don’t care, don’t understand, or both.

They don't care enough to even try and understand. There's a reason conservatives prioritize god, guns, and glory and not education, health, and solidarity.

If you give individuals a scapegoat like religion they can live their lives as aimless as they want and it's never their fault, it's God's will.

It's also not a coincidence that the same type of magical thinking fostered by religious zealotry is needed to believe Republicans or tax cuts are good for the economy against massive amounts of evidence to the contrary.

Some people can see with their own eyes that the economy is demonstrably worse under Republicans, in real time, and still refuse to believe it. If they couldn't acknowledge it for the past 50 years, they never will.

Fixing an economy takes time. So generally it goes like this -

• Republicans break the economy and are eventually tossed out.
• Democrats are elected and begin the process of fixing the economy, which winds up taking 5ish years.
• Republicans are elected again.
• All the hard work done by Democrats to fix the economy finally comes to fruition, Republicans take all the credit.
• Voters believe "Only the Republicans could fix it."

Repeat.

House Votes to Rein In Trump on Iran War, in a Bipartisan Rebuke

A measure to direct an end to U.S. engagement in Iran was adopted with a handful of Republicans in support, sending a signal of opposition to the president’s handling of the war.

Four. It's even shorter than handful. They could simply have said 'Four Republicans'. 1.84% of republicans voted to end the war.

Bipartisan!? Nah, every democrat and FOUR republicans. This is the same bullshit they keep doing. Republican majority votes against something then takes credit for it when it’s popular. Sure, I’m glad four of them grew some semblance of a spine but to call this bipartisan is a deliberate attempt to take a deserved victory away from democrats.

This just weakens Trump's hand further. Iran will know that the longer they drag this on, the more unpopular the war becomes in the US, and the weaker Trump's negotiating position is in.

Trump will never get a deal as good as what Obama got. Obama got a 160 page deal, with details on what Iran had to follow, and UN inspections agents on the ground in Iran to verify the deal was working. Trump would be lucky to get 1/3 of the deal Obama got. 

The headlines need to constantly remind people how Obama had a PERFECT agreement with Iran, where international inspectors could go in at ANY time. But Trump wanted to squash any legacy Obama had, so he tore up the deal on day 1 with no plan in place.

They also need to clearly state how ANY deal trump makes will be so far from the PERFECT deal Obama already had in place.

Trump has given entire generations of people in various countries a reason and justification to hate and want to destroy America for a very long time.

This is a future that Trump and most of our politicians won't even live long enough to witness, but it's the future they are designing for us to have to live in.
