Hakeem Jeffries Says Trump Is Running “Pedophile Protection Program”
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries had some tough words for Republicans in a press conference Monday about the government shutdown.
When asked by a reporter about working with someone who has been obstructing the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, Jeffries said that “the Trump administration and Mike Johnson are running a pedophile protection program.”
Quite simply it seems strange that any entity would claim to have a list of people who sexually abuse minors and withhold it. Didn't Trump campaign on releasing it?
The part that is strange is they keep saying that trump isn't on the list but Bill Clinton and other prominent democrats and left leaning celebrities are yet they still constantly block the release. Why would they vote against releasing it while all democrats vote to release it if it would only hurt democrats and overwhelmingly help republicans?
He was literally Epstein's partner in the pedophile sex trafficking ring. Now he holds the evidence and the power to blackmail or destroy powerful people at will. He's not giving that up.

Trump states: "I never had the privilege" when asked if he had visited the island.

When Trump was asked specifically whether Epstein had stolen Giuffre (Giuffre, one of Epstein's most prominent abuse survivors led the charge calling for his arrest. Guiffre, who died by suicide in April, has said she met Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell while she was working at Mar-a-Lago as a teenager). Trump states:"I think she worked at the spa," Trump said. "I think so. I think that was one of the people. He stole her, and by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever."
Reporter asks tump: Mr. President, you said Jeffrey Epstein was stealing young women from your spa. Did that raise alarm bells for you?” she asked. As he tried to listen to the other question, Trump interrupted sharply: “Be quiet!” When Collins repeated the question, Trump again replied: “Be quiet!”
**Maxwell, a person charged with human trafficking and enticing minors to travel to engage in sexual acts, was moved to a minimum security prison. This is highly unusual for someone with these charges. This was following several private conversations with Maxwell by the Trump admin.
