They either don't understand how things work/ worked in the past and ignorance is bliss till its in their face, or alternatively they are completely comfortable with authoritarian shit affecting others because they think they are on the "winning team."
Or theyre very wealthy and make insane profits on the chaos.
Or they’re barely getting by and are stretched too thin to pay attention. Think about how many people turned against Trump over gas prices.
Or they've been brainwashed by social media. I went on FB for the first time in months last night, and it was ugly on there. So many bots and idiots glazing Trump.
Because a lot of people aren't affected by the fascism so they just don't care. It'll take them personally being disruptted by the horrors of this country to actually wake up unfortunately.
