Trump Incited the Terrorism of January 6, Investigations Further Show
The ongoing series of hearings by the House committee investigating January 6 has produced numerous revelations about Donald Trump’s attack on the peaceful transfer of presidential power. The most explosive evidence to date has come from Cassidy Hutchinson, a former top aide in the Trump White House, who described how Trump knowingly urged armed supporters to march on the Capitol and reportedly raged against Secret Service agents who prevented him from joining the mob bent on stopping the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory.
The only thing I can sort of think about why all the people who followed him including republicans even though they knew he was wrong, is a collective Stockholm Syndrome. He abused them, they love him.
January 6 panel to show Trump violated law by refusing to stop Capitol attack
The January 6 House select committee is expected to make the case at its hearing on Thursday that Donald Trump potentially violated the law when he refused entreaties to take action to stop the 2021 attack on the US Capitol by a mass of his supporters, according to two sources familiar with the matter.
I'm afraid Trump violated the law several times. Lifetime criminals tend to do that.
I’m getting nervous about how much evidence is truly needed when you have all this shit on video in addition to all the other highly suspect ways he tried to interfere with the election. What other evidence do you need?
Trump had 'extreme difficulty' with his speech on the day after January 6
The outtakes, first reported by The Washington Post, were part of production of a speech Trump gave the night after the riot. They show Trump having a difficult time working through the effort to tape the message. Trump refused to say the election results had been settled and attempted to call the rioters patriots. He also went to great lengths to not accuse them of any wrongdoing.
Can’t even imagine what the first take would have been. The fact that you need more than one take to tell people to leave your nations Capitol is pretty fucking sad.
The video tape outtakes will be one part of a larger presentation during which the committee plans to detail Trump's lack of attention to the ongoing riot. The committee has said it will focus on the 187 minutes that Trump sat back, refusing to act, as the Capitol was under siege. Some committee members have described this as Trump's "dereliction of duty."
This will be good.
My hail mary guess is he starts rapping "Fuck The Police" by NWA.
