When Democrats pushed the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) through Congress in 2021—with hardly any bipartisan support—Donald Trump warned Republicans not to vote for it. "Patriots will never forget!" said Trump, who described the bill as "a loser for the USA, a terrible deal, and makes the Republicans look weak, foolish, and dumb."
Patriots may never forget, but it appears that Trump—who is now taking credit for projects funded by the bill—has.
Under the Biden administration, many project sites sponsored by the BIL displayed signs crediting former President Joe Biden and his infrastructure law for funding the job. In recent months, these signs have been changed to predominantly credit Trump for making these projects happen, reports The New York Times.
Remember when he took credit for the military getting raises, which was a bill passed 3 years prior in 2014.
This is what he does, nothing of value, takes credit for what the previous regimes do, then gets him and his cronies reelected because average Americans are too ignorant to question it.
He preys on the short attention span of the average MAGAt. He thrives on the 24-hr news cycle and their inability to put effort into looking things up.
Remember when he pocketed and stole a FIFA medal in front of the players, the head of FIFA and thousands of people watching and not one media outlet has ever asked him about it

Not to absolve MAGA of their willful ignorance, but I actually wonder how much Google's (and other apps') algorithms actually lets them see outside their bubble. Enragement drives engagement, after all.
AI has an interesting conundrum with this issue. Useable mostly accurate AI would potentially go against a lot of people's world views. But instead of changing world view some people might just change to a different AI that feeds them the exact bullshit they want.
