The U.S. Treasury’s borrowing showed no signs of slowing as the U.S. headed deeper into fiscal year 2026, with the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) reporting that another $1 trillion was added to the federal deficit in the first five months of the year.
There's that Republican fiscal conservativism again.
That’s why so many don’t like Democrats. Republicans pay it up and spend all the money and leave. Then the democrats have to come in and clean up and no one likes to clean up. They want the fun crazy GOP. So they bring them in again and again the place goes to shit again and repeat.
The money is borrowed from future generations. They’re stealing from the future to fund the present.
Just for anyone here that voted for this idiot. This is your tax dollars going to this administration to enrich themselves and fight a war for Israel. When SS runs out and Medicaid becomes unaffordable just remember you did this to yourself. Take some fucking accountability. As an individual that likes to walk in the center you don’t have to vote red or blue when you know your candidate is a piece of shit. Especially now that citizens united has made corporate donations basically unlimited. Finding a decent candidate will be far and few between.
