It's embarrassing to the rest of the world to see, and the US will pay the price for DECADES.
Imagine the U.S. if it didn't waste money by sending out pallets of it to other countries and/or starting unnecessary wars, but instead using those funds to reinvest back into the U.S. $39T would pretty much fix homelessness and the entirety of the agriculture system across the entire country.
