Remember whan Putin put a price on the head of US troops when they were in Afghanistan? Trump was President when that happened. He was fine with it then, too. MAGA's memory banks are smaller than the size of a gnat's brain.
The only thing that matters to Trump supporters is, are Liberals mad?
If Liberals are mad Russians are killing americans, they are pro Russia.
If Liberals are mad Trump is stealing billions from tax payers, they are pro Trump stealing.
If Liberals are mad about high gas and grocery bills, they are pro high costs
If Liberals are mad Trump is a pedophile, then they are pro pedophilia.
Conservatives are the enemy of every democracy. Literally every single one.
They are not simply a political alternative. There is no "left vs right". There's every single political philosophy that believes in a moral system of governance on one side...and an amoral system on the other.
The whole point of conservatism is social hierarchies. From Burke to Trump, from tories to slavers to nazis to the taliban to MAGA. It's why conservatism has always been on the wrong side of history. Always. Against women's rights, against civil rights, against gay rights, against trans rights, against worker's rights, against unions, against child labour laws, against age of consent laws, against marital rape laws, against access to education, against scientific progress, against accountability and oversight, etc.
Conservatism came from aristocrats trying to keep their advantages when monarchies fell and democracies rose. The whole point is that some deserve more than others; "fuck you, me first" or "fuck you, not my problem". That's the right as a whole, the rest is a smokescreen. A means to that end. "Fiscal responsibility" is an excuse to cut social programs and public spending, "law and order" is an excuse to circumvent oversight and accountability in order to fast-track (lawless) "justice", "traditionalism" is an excuse to resist progress and change, "freedom!" is just a smokescreen for "freedom to exploit" and de-regulation.
And at the end of the day, social hierarchy is the only point. It's why they always end up in bed with supremacists, religious zealots, criminals, assholes, and the illiterate. In every country. Throughout history. They don't want a moral system, they want an amoral system. They want a system that doesn't give a shit.
Even now, this war is simply American conservatives vs Iranian conservatives. Israel's Netanyahu, Russia's Putin...ALL conservative.
Anyone saying "it's good to have different political opinions!" is a fucking illiterate. They don't understand political philosophy, science, or history. All the different philosophies are coalesced on one side to oppose the side that believes in social hierarchies, inequality, and cruelty. There is no middle ground between morality and amorality.
The only thing compromising with monsters does is make you more monstrous.
