Trump is ultimate RINO

"Trump World" is no joke — and it wants to devour American democracy | Trump's inner circle really calls itself "Trump World" now. Don't laugh: It's a sign of growing power and strength

"rump World" is not a joke, if it ever really was. That's no longer the term exclusively applied to Donald Trump's orbit by media observers or political opponents. It's now how Trump World describes itself. "

It is a full blown fascist enterprise nothing less; all the boxes are checked. If we as people allow ourselves to be overrun by what is essentially a small clique controlling over a full third of the population it will take years and God knows what bloody trauma to rid ourselves of them.

The mainstream media better wake the fuck up to what's going on. I don't think many people understand just how much danger we are in. Everyone loves to laugh off trumps constant stream of lies but this has been a conscious, sinister, and willful effort to do exactly what happened when combined with the state "news" at fox. To confuse their content consumers to do irrational things. They convinced these people to amass guns, hate their neighbors, and even kill themselves through an apathetic pandemic response, all in the name of fealty.

I dont want to hear from the reps with the most outrageous hateful behavior, I want to hear from the moderate Republicans who sit back and watch all of this, then stamp their names on everything with glowing approval. Having a loose cannon wouldn't be a problem if it was duly rejected, but the conspiratorial actions by moderate Republicans and the blase mainstream media response to this drives the whole party.

Everyone laughs and says “What a dolt!”, to anyone who mentions comparisons to how Hitler came to power. Remember, the government that initially went after Hitler thought he was a done “loser” as well, until the cult following crowd built Hitler up into a “god” that would eventually put the monster in power. Anyone who doesn’t see Trump, certain Congressmen, and others like Bannon and company, along the Trump worshipping media, as an existential threat are fooling themselves. They are pushing to make history repeat itself. Ideally, some of these weak-kneed cowardly Congressional Republicans would wake up and take their stand NOW, to head this off. If they don’t, they may well see their children and grandchildren suffer in the upcoming civil war that will have to take place if the head of the snake of Trump World is not cut off NOW.

Trump Sounds Pretty Panicked About Congress Finding Out Exactly What He Was Up to on January 6

"As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Donald Trump is extremely unhappy about the work being performed by the House committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol, presumably because he knows that what they find will make him look even worse than he already does, which is saying a lot given he already looks like a guy who tried to overthrow the government because his parents never hugged him as a child. Unfortunately for Trump, Joe Biden thinks it’s actually very important for Congress to have access to the information it has requested concerning the days surrounding the insurrection, and earlier this month rejected his predecessor’s claim of executive privilege over the documents in question. So now, instead of letting the investigation unfold like an innocent person with nothing to hide would, Trump has instead sicced his lawyers on the government."

The virtue of accountability is a myth. Every head honcho of this or that S&P-bullshit company will tell you or has written a book on leadership that spells out how important it is to take responsibility for your actions; learn from your mistakes. Blah. Blah. Blah. But the minute - the very second - those same companies and “leaders” are accused of stiffing workers, cheating consumers or poising the environment all you hear is “wasn’t me.”

Accountability is a pair of handcuffs that rich-ass fucks use to keep less fortunate people in their place. Accountability is the cudgel the elites use to beat life sentences out of people who shoplift. It’s the tightening noose of fines, fees, tickets and bureaucratic red-tape they use to strangle low income families and communities out of institutional wealth. Accountability as a myth is a weapon.

Vanity Fair have run this exact article about every single Trump scandal, as if the populace gives a shit.

If there's actual video of him dressed as the Qanon shaman and beating a police officer to death, 95% of Republicans would still vote for him. They literally didn't care when he said he liked to sexually assault women. They couldn't give a fuck when he told a Gold Star family to go fuck themselves. America needs to stop acting like Trump is the problem, the selfish assholes people voting for him are.

Liz Cheney: Bannon refusal to cooperate suggests Trump was 'personally involved' in the planning riot

"Republican Rep. Liz Cheney blasted former President Donald Trump's ally Steve Bannon for refusing to cooperate with the House committee investigating the January 6 riot, saying that his claim of executive privilege is not only invalid, but suggests Trump was "personally involved" in the planning and execution of the events that day."

Donald Trump always places himself as an innocent victim.

If he is so innocent, what is he afraid of?

Why is he so afraid of the truth?

Does Trump have something to hide? For example, the fact that he is the worst president in U.S. history who constantly attacks democracy and promoted the January 6, 2021 coup on Capitol Hill.

Trump's supporters need to open their eyes to the danger Trump poses to America.

It also sounds like the House should refer this over to the FBI to go after all the high level criminals like Trump and Co involved. The FBI Director is a Republican who needs to be fired. I don't understand how one can carryout an interstate massive criminal conspiracy involving thousands of people and the leaders of such organizing not face the full force of FBI charges and investigation (Trump, Banon, etc). Yet BLM protesters who break a car window are facing 7 years from the same FBI.

Why does congress have less power than a lowly common court to investigate crimes? If you were subpoenaed as a witness in a civil trial and simply refused to appear, the judge would make some reasonable attempts to get your appearance. Eventually, they'd issue an arrest warrant for the sheriff to kick down your door, put you in handcuffs, throw you in jail, hold you until the time for witnesses to appear at trial for months and make you take the stand. Seems very odd, sounds like Dems need to update the laws.

Cheney: Bannon's actions suggest Trump was involved in Capitol riot 'planning and execution'

"Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said late Tuesday that former White House strategist Stephen Bannon’s refusal to cooperate with the House committee investigating the Capitol riot suggests former President Trump was "personally involved in the planning and execution of January 6th.""

After the Joe rogan interview with the guy who did a qanon documentary it’s pretty clear that Rudy at the very least needs a major investigation into his actions and connections with qanon. The dude who probably started qanon is now an advisor for the audit the election Trump thing. How a random dude from a different country becomes a advisor to the president of the US is sketchy af.

Stop and think about what government really is.

Government is a necessary evil and will always be about choosing the least evil policies in order to serve the greatest good.

Voting will always be about choosing between lesser evils. Always.

So don't get too upset that you don't have a utopia menu of people to pick from each election. Pick the people who are most qualified and capable of representing you in government.

Also until we get rid of first past the post you will only ever have two choices but there is hope that some day we will get rid of first past the post and there will be many political parties to choose from.

Steve Bannon not cooperating suggests Trump may have been 'personally involved in the planning and execution' of the January 6 insurrection, Liz Cheney says

"Former White House advisor Steve Bannon's refusal to cooperate with the investigation into the January 6 insurrection suggests that he and former President Donald Trump worked together to plan the day's actions, Rep. Liz Cheney said on Tuesday."

His deliberate refusal to comply raises lots of red flags like that's not suspicious at all.

It's a deliberate aesthetic. He is philosophically adverse to what he considers 'modernism' along with its material trappings such as suits and ties. It's a not so subtle way of communicating his anti establishment ideology to those paying attention.

Trump tells Republicans not to vote

For once I agree! Do not vote! Listen to your Master! Do Not Vote 2022 and 2024! For Love of God, Do Not Vote!

Trump Tells Republicans Not to Vote in 2022 or 2024

"In a new statement that he would have posted on Twitter himself if his account was not permanently suspended for inciting violence, former President Donald Trump urged his supporters not to vote in the two upcoming elections if the Republican Party does not “solve” the supposed voter fraud that he has falsely claimed precipitated his loss to President Joe Biden."

He is threatening the GOP. “Get behind me and my messaging or I will destroy you.”

Which is a battle they can't win. The courts are smacking this shit down left and right. There will be no fraud proven in the 2020 election which means it's a lose lose situation. Now is the time more than ever to run AWAY from Trumpism.

The issue is that despite there being no fraud republicans are being led to believe there really was. Minor discrepancies in vote counts are being blown out of proportion by conservative media in an effort to trick conservatives into believing that our elections are all rigged.

While I take delight in the sheer stupidity of this, this is his pretext to say the elections are not valid and then incite his army of morons to take up arms and forcibly take control of the government.

This country really need to do something about him before he incites an uprising. I think such an uprising could be quickly quelled if say, there is a specific protest or something and law enforcement takes action to arrest and detain anyone using violence ... Trump's followers will scatter like rats from a sinking ship once they realize there will be actual consequences for engaging in insurrection and rebellion.

Trump tells Republicans they should not vote in 2022 or 2024 without answers to 2020 'fraud'

"Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday issued a statement claiming "Republicans will not be voting in [2022] or [2024]" unless the "thoroughly and conclusively documented" presidential "election fraud of 2020" is investigated. He then goes on to call abstaining from voting "the single most important thing for Republicans to do." Quite the interesting call to action for a man reportedly readying his own 2024 campaign."

Keep that grift going. There have been audits of audits that were auditing the audits of the votes..None find all this enormous fraud. The GOP running the elections in disputed states say the elections were sound. Almost all his lawsuits were tossed in the crapper.

What needs to happen is this clown needs to be held accountable for his planning, paying for and directing an assault on the peaceful transfer of power. Getting real tired of even seeing his name in articles on here. Trump is by far the worst president in the history of the US his continued grifting and divisive lies have pushed him into the lead, past the slave owing presidents. I really cant tell if all GOP are this stupid or it the negative engagement algorithms making this shit pop up all the time, to keep people angry.

This is Trump flexing his muscles against Mitch McConnell and the Republican leadership. He's saying to them, "Fall in line or I torch the party for the foreseeable future." Trump has no loyalty to the Republican party. To Trump, all loyalty is a one-way street (one-way to him). But McConnell is all about expanding the strength of the GOP. It's pretty much the only thing he cares about.

Trump is a wannabe mob boss: "It'd be a shame if your party caught on fire, Mitch."

Trump is building a parallel “system” of election verification peopled with his cronies. A phony report about election fraud coupled with trumped up “evidence” from voting contests that he himself organizes could represent a political pathway to a coup. Don’t tell me the current Republican party wouldn’t go right along with this.

Trump Says Republicans Won't Vote in Midterms, 2024 Election if 2020 Fraud Isn't 'Solved'

"Former President Donald Trump believes Republicans will sit out the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election, of which he may be a contender, if the fraud he believes occurred during the 2020 election isn't "solved."

Trump has been pushing that he rightfully won the 2020 presidential election since the race was called for Biden and has been critical of legislators and judges who don't back the belief as well. He has yet to prove widespread fraud occurred that would have changed the outcome of the election and on Wednesday, he railed against a Georgia judge who dismissed a fraud suit.

In a statement, Trump denied that little evidence has been produced to prove he's the rightful winner of the presidential election, saying that they've "thoroughly and conclusively documented" it. He added that Republicans will withhold their votes in 2022 and 2024 if the election fraud isn't "solved." He added it is the "single most important thing for Republicans to do.""

He would rather see it burned to the ground than admit defeat or even admit he was wrong. That’s why he’s such a darling to a lot of the right.

It's a twisted game of liars chess. If they boycott, they can say the winner was elected only by the opposing party. Therefore, it's a conspiracy/not a democratically elected mandate/Democrats are just as bad/worse. It opens up a whole new front for propaganda and misinformation to take hold and obfuscate the original crimes.

It's the same strategy he used throughout his presidency: when things get hot or he's losing the limelight he fashions a new crisis to divert attention back to him. He's betting he can stoke the backlash to a victory in 24'. Every move he makes is about regaining/defending his claim to power.

My interpretation is that Trump doesn’t really give a shit about the country OR the GOP, so he has nothing to lose by inadvertently blowing them up in the next election, but everything to gain if the delusional, long-shot attempt at getting him back into power somehow actually works.

But yeah, assuming he DOES get his followers to abstain from voting he’ll undoubtedly do the same thing he did in 2020, where he told them all not to vote by mail then tried to pretend the mail-in votes were all “thrown into a River” or something.

Trump this and Trump that

Not a day goes by that we can read what former US President Donald Trump tried to do while holding office:

NOT A JOKE: TRUMP WAS GOING TO APPOINT IVANKA PRESIDENT OF THE WORLD BANK UNTIL STEVEN MNUCHIN INTERVENED

"Back in 2019, as only the patriarch of the world’s most delusional family could, Donald Trump told The Atlantic about all the jobs that he’d wanted to give his daughter Ivanka, ones for which she wasn’t even qualified to do an unpaid internship. Ambassador to the United Nations? Ivanka “would’ve been great,” just “incredible” at the job, Trump explained to reporter Elaina Plott. “I even thought of Ivanka for the World Bank,” he added. “She would’ve been great at that because she’s very good with numbers. She’s got a great calmness...I’ve seen her under tremendous stress and pressure. She reacts very well—that’s usually a genetic thing, but it’s one of those things, nevertheless. She’s got a tremendous presence when she walks into the room.”"

Remember that cringeworthy video where Ivanka awkwardly tried to join a conversation that IMF Chair Christine LaGarde, Angela Merkel, Theresa May, and Emmanuel Macron were having at the G20? And they all just sort of uncomfortably nodded as she spoke and looked annoyed at having to talk to someone who had no idea what they were saying? Lagarde in particular was giving her a lot of side eye.

The IMF head and the World Bank President often work closely together. Imagine how a trained professional like LaGarde would feel having to talk to Ivanka.

It’s worse than you think. It’s not like she had a bad take on international monetary policy, she doesn’t fully comprehend the words she uses.

https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2017/10/ivanka-trump-misused-words-albeit-relative-basis-complicit-architecting-stephen-colbert/amp

Ivanka is his daughter. He has remarked how good looking she is and if she were not his daughter, he would indeed tap.

Honestly, with a guy with such low impulse control and a clear desire to bone his daughter, I'd be more shocked if he hasn't done it.

Google for "Trump Ivanka pictures". He posed with her in lovey dovey poses for romantic photos when she was, like, 12.

Coincidentally, he took her with him to Russia when she was about 12. Russia, known for rigging hotel rooms with cameras. There's speculation that the "pee tape" may actually be the "P[edo] tape".

Trump Wanted to 'Stay in Power Forever' Like Putin, Says His Ex-National Security Adviser

"Aformer top national security adviser to Donald Trump said the ex-president admired Russia's Vladimir Putin and wanted to "stay in power forever" like the strongman leader.

"He saw Putin as the kind of epitome of the badass populist, frankly, you know, the kind of person that he wanted to be: super-rich, super powerful, no checks and balances, and essentially being able to stay in power forever," Fiona Hill, who previously served as senior director for Europe and Russia on Trump's National Security Council, told Molly Jong-Fast of The Daily Beast on an episode of The New Abnormal podcast uploaded on Sunday.

Trump's affinity for Putin has long been criticized, as the former president often appeared to be publicly defensive of the authoritarian Russian president before and during his tenure in the White House."

I can’t wrap my head around Trump supporters thinking this will be good for them or the country/world. Trump somehow becoming president for life, that will not play out well for anyone other than himself and his kids.

Trump's presidency was 100% about himself. All his trips to Mar-a-lago on the taxpayer's dime, his nakedly self serving attempts to get the G7 summit at his resort. Trump is a freaking con man who has only ever acted in his own self interest. He doesn't give a shit about the people who voted for him. He would have turned them away from his fancy resorts and hotels as not good enough.

But they've all deluded themselves into believing Trump did anything for them. Not much has changed for me under Trump, or under Biden. But these people have convinced themselves that he changed the world and made it better, even if their own lives went from same to same.

Which absolutely makes no sense if you’re working or middle class. Trump’s policies were absolutely hammering the average Joe. The only ones profiting from a Trump administration was Trump, his family, cronies, and billionaires sucking up to him.

t actually makes total sense once you understand that his purpose was to rally the far-right to finally remove any evidence of liberal or social programs. Sure, many of the average Joe's voted for him ignorantly thinking that he would bring jobs, etc. But the big money people lobbied for him because he represents a long line of capitalists, industrialists, dictators and gangsters who want to do away with environmental protections, labor protections, civil rights, universal Healthcare, etc. They want to destroy socialism and establish the true free market capitalism in the worst way.

And they all think he's going to lift the lot of the Average Joe in the process. In their white minds, there would be more jobs available for white men if women stayed home, if we limited immigration, if we got rid of discrimination protections, if we let rich white business leaders drive the economy unfettered by social and environmental concerns. More women would stay home if their husband could provide for them, while also eliminating the need for abortion rights. By shrinking government, people would be forced to rely on the church for social welfare, driving more people into the flock. Peace would be restored because law enforcement would have much more freedom to rough people up, instilling fear in the poor, the black and native American population, and LGBTQIA folks. The country was interpreted as a white Christian utopia. They had no problem codifying their racism with territorial land grants, giving early white settlers free reign to kill, rape, abuse native Americans and black people. They had no problem stripping the Japanese of their property. It can happen again and Trump is the best chance they have to ensure that they dominate.

Biden declines Trump request to withhold White House records from Jan. 6 committee

"WASHINGTON — The White House on Friday formally blocked an attempt by former President Donald Trump to withhold documents from Congress related to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, setting up a legal showdown between the current and former presidents over executive privilege.

In a letter to the National Archives obtained by NBC News, White House Counsel Dana Remus rejected an attempt by Trump’s attorneys to withhold documents requested by the House Select Committee regarding the then-president’s activities on Jan. 6, writing that “President Biden has determined that an assertion of executive privilege is not in the best interests of the United States, and therefore is not justified as to any of the documents.”"

For anyone confused or unsure, here's a few pieces of information that are relevant.

  1. Executive privilege is not in the Constitution, nor is it laid out anywhere else legally except in a single SCOTUS ruling.
  2. It only applies to stuff within the executive. Individuals who are not within the executive don't apply here (e.g. Bannon, Insurrectionists, etc who are not in communication with the executive).
  3. It definitely does not apply to individuals in the Legislative branch who communicated with the Executive branch, e.g. texts between Congresspersons who aided and abetted.
  4. It absolutely fucking does not apply if the requested documents and testimony are "essential to the justice of the case." (This is the precise text of the SCOTUS ruling.)

On Point #4, if Congress is investigating Trump's involvement with an attempted coup, then Trump's correspondence by its very nature is required for justice to prevail here.

Trump's attempt to overthrown 2020 elections

Trump Whined to Acting Attorney General: You’ll Do Nothing to Help Me ‘Overturn’ Election

"On Jan. 3, days before Donald Trump’s supporters went on to ransack the U.S. Capitol, the president allegedly opened a high-stakes Oval Office meeting by complaining to his acting attorney general that he was doing nothing to help him “overturn” his election defeat by Joe Biden."

147 GOP Reps and Senators who voted to overturn the election should be expelled:

"In one particularly egregious example, Rosen recalled that Trump opened an Oval Office meeting on the evening of Jan. 3 by complaining to the gathered officials: “One thing we know is you, Rosen, aren’t going to do anything to overturn the election.” The meeting would end with several DOJ officials and White House counsel Pat Cipollone threatening to quit if Trump attempted to replace Rosen with a MAGA loyalist.

Overall, the interim report lists nine calls and meetings with Rosen and Acting Deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue between mid-December and early January, during which Trump asked for help in his mission to overturn the election and remain in the White House.

The interim report concludes: “Beginning on the day former Attorney General William Barr announced his resignation and continuing almost until the January 6 insurrection, Trump directly and repeatedly asked DOJ’s acting leadership to initiate investigations, file lawsuits on his behalf, and publicly declare the 2020 election ‘corrupt.’”

Trump Tried to Force the DOJ to ‘Just Say the Election Was Corrupt’

"President Trump led an extraordinary pressure campaign to try to get the Department of Justice to back up his voting fraud lies in the months after the November 2020 election, at one point telling them to “just say the election was corrupt,” according to new testimony from senior DOJ officials."

That's the other thing. He didn't say "leave it to me," he said "leave it to me and the R congressmen".

“Don’t expect you to do that, just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R[epublican] Congressmen” is how Donoghue recorded Trump’s response in handwritten notes.

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2021/07/leave-rest-me/619621/

Republican elected officials were complicit in this and everyone is pretending that didn't happen for some reason.

Senate report gives new details of Trump efforts to use Justice Dept. to overturn election

"A Senate report on President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election offers new details about an Oval Office confrontation between Trump and the Justice Department, revealing the extent to which government lawyers threatened to resign en masse if the president removed his attorney general."

Rudy Giuliani gets facts from Facebook

Rudy Giuliani admits under oath that he got some of his 'evidence' of alleged election fraud from social media

"Rudy Giuliani admitted under oath that his "evidence" of voter fraud in the 2020 election came partly from social media and that he did not interview or fact-check his sources, reports say.

Donald Trump's former personal lawyer made the comments in a deposition on August 14 in relation to a defamation lawsuit brought by a former Dominion Voting Systems employee, Eric Coomer, first published by The Colorado Sun."

"In the deposition, Giuliani admitted that he got some of his information about Coomer's alleged role in the election fraud from his social media posts but couldn't be sure if it was Facebook or another platform, MSNBC said.

"Those social media posts get all one to me," Giuliani said.

When questioned about whether he saw any other evidence linking Coomer with election fraud, he responded, "Right now, I can't recall anything else that I laid eyes on.""

I'm numb to these stories by now, but I can't help but imagine this from the perspective of future history books:

A former mayor and lead defense lawyer for the President of the United States, while absolutely shitfaced-drunk, cited random-ass Facebook posts in national televised press conferences alleging that an election was stolen.

..All while The President would spend his entire working day tweeting, sometimes 200 times in a single day, all-caps screeching conspiracy rants. (Not to mention this was during the height of a deadly pandemic that was being completely ignored for tweets and FB conspiracies.)

It's just... fucking embarrassing.

The problem is that the right thinks the same way even though they’re wrong. That’s why they keep calling themselves the silent majority or something, because they think they’re some of the few speaking up but really they’re victims of the right-wing propaganda apparatus. People on top will gladly deceive their constituents and even con them into voting them into office by pointing their fingers at the other side since these people may as well be the equivalent of monkeys that can buy guns.

This country is already fucked, I’m gonna say that right now. Absolutely nothing will ever get done legislatively again beyond maybe this infrastructure bill that two senators are predictably tanking right now. Once Republicans cheat their way into power on a state-wide level in 2022 there is absolutely no shot they certify presidential electoral votes for anybody that doesn’t have an R next to their name. They’ll solidify their power and that will be that. There’s so much distrust in the electoral process that if we manage a win in 2024 they will still stage a coup, I’m calling it right now.

From a practical standpoint, this Republic is dead in the water. Republicans will overthrow the government then consolidate their power and make sure there is never a Democratic majority again. There is nothing special about democracy in this country and it has been flawed for some time; we’re already seeing results of Republican cheating because the conservative Supreme Court that Mitch pushed through refused to see a case about the new Texas abortion laws. I’m willing to bet the Roman Republic thought they had something great, too.

It reminds me of a quote from when I used to play World of Warcraft. A misguided king rose to power and was finally taken down by the protagonist, and the spirit of his father whom he assassinated tells him “No king rules forever, my son.” That king back then may as well be the spirit of our forefathers, but then again, a plutocracy is probably exactly what they had intended.

My goodness…..:::

Giuliani said he was too busy when asked why he repeated Oltmann's accusations without verifying them.

"It's not my job in a fast-moving case to go out and investigate every piece of evidence that's given to me," Giuliani said in the deposition, reported by MSNBC.

"Why wouldn't I believe him? I would have to have been a terrible lawyer… gee, let's go find out it's untrue. I didn't have the time to do that."
