Trump is asking Putin to make up dirt on Hunter Biden

'Treachery'—Donald Trump Faces Backlash for Asking Vladimir Putin a Favor

"Donald Trump has been widely criticized for calling on Vladimir Putin to release any information he has about Hunter Biden's alleged business dealings in Russia while the Russian president is carrying out attacks on Ukraine."

Before the election he implored Russia, a long time enemy of the USA, to help find dirt on his political opponent.

Whilst in power, he was impeached for blackmailing President Zelensky by withholding military aid for Ukraine for dirt on a political opponent's son.

Now, he's asking a dictator currently commiting war crimes in Ukraine for help against a political opponent (after praising said dictator for invading Ukraine).

I don't know about you guys, but I'm starting to think Trump isn't quite as much of a patriot as he says he is.

In 1987, Trump was invited to Moscow by the Kremlin. When he came back, he announced he was running for office and took out full page ads in the broadsheets using roundabout language to call for the end of US funding of NATO. That's how easy it was for the Russians to manipulate Trump. Since the early 80's he has been inextricably linked with the Russian mafia and their dirty money, via his questionable Russian loans and his laundering of Russian mafia money through his US properties. The man spent his 4 years in office emboldening Putin by undermining Ukraine, then he praised Putin for his invasion of Ukraine, and he has since doubled down on that praise. And now he's asking for Moscow to help him out by dishing dirt on a political opponent.

Let's be clear about this. He is asking Russian military intelligence to fabricate a case against Biden, as this benefits Trump and Putin. This is criminal conspiracy as explained in the Mueller Report when Trump was shielded by being POTUS. He no longer has that shield and Garland must start prosecuting these crimes.

The egregiousness of the Ukraine affair is beyond the pale. Lest people forget, this is what he did:

He called Zelenskyy and tried to strongarm him by asking him for a favor in exchange for weapons aid, to announce an investigation into Hunter Biden. It is not even that he thought Biden's son has anything. What he wanted was the announcement of the investigation. So he is basically demanding the leader of another country to interfere with Us domestic politics by making up shit (ie lying) about his political opponent's son.

1) He knew Hunter Biden has done nothing illegal or untoward.

2) He wanted Zelenskyy to announce an investigation. Not even a real investigation, just the announcement itself because he can use that as a propaganda tool to attack Biden.

3) He invited another country to interfere with domestic politics, and arguably a treasonous behavior, legality aside.

4) He used USA foreign policy as an extension of his own interests by using weapons aid (that does not even belong to him) to strongarm another country. He literally does not give a shit about this country or its interests or anyone else's interests.

I don't want people to forget just how immensely shitty it was and how compromised he is. Some countries hang leaders who do something like this.

Trump brazenly asks Putin to release dirt about Biden's family

"Washington (CNN)In a new interview published Tuesday, former President Donald Trump called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to release any damaging information he has about the Biden family, in a brazen request for domestic political assistance from America's top adversary."

If Putin had anything that would have helped Trump win reelection he would have released it already.

Trump is asking Putin to manufacture it.

Trump asks Putin to release any info about Hunter Biden

"Amid widespread criticism of his praise for Russian President Vladimir Putin, former President Donald Trump publicly called on Putin on Tuesday to release any dirt he might have on Hunter Biden, the president’s son."

This is really dumb on multiple levels.

First isn't he suing Hillary Clinton for saying he's in bed with the Russian government and now he's trying to get in bed with the Russian government.

Second Putin is kinda busy right now trying to manage a failing war and avoid enough of the Uber rich in his own country coming together and deciding he's doing more harm then good.

Third who'd believe anything the Russians put out on Hunter Biden right now when Joe Biden and the sanctions he's championing are crippling the Russian economy.

And finally, even if Hunter Biden loves hookers, blow, and like the resses cup of debauchery the delicious moment when the two come together who cares. He would be another of the world's failed rich boys who couldn't live up to a legacy. By the same token if it turns out he's traded on his father's name, connections, and position to get a head in life far out scoring his merit how does that make him any different from Trump or his kids? None of them got where they are on "Merit". Except for the merit of having Grand Dad's money.

Cause even the worst version of Hunter Biden Republicans come up with still is far better then most of the Trump kids because there appears to be a fire wall keeping Hunter away from any and all official is buisness as opposed to Eric, Jr, Ivanka, and Jared who literally using government information that they could pass the clearance reviews to get normally to enrich themselves. Hunter fucking Biden isn't being consulted by Joe to work on a diplomatic response to the Ukraine situation like Trump did with Jared and Ivanka.

Trump Is Now Asking Putin to Dig Up Dirt on the Biden Family

"The ask came during an interview with Just the News on Real America’s Voice, with the former president citing a Senate report that found a Russian oligarch once gave $3.5 million to a company he claims was founded by Biden’s son, Hunter. “Why did the mayor of Moscow’s wife give the Bidens, both of them, $3.5 million? That’s a lot of money,” Trump said. “She gave him $3.5 million so I would think Putin would know the answer to that,” Trump said. “I think he should release it. I think we should know that answer.”"

He's not asking Putin to dig up dirt. He's asking Putin to MAKE up dirt. Nobody on team Trump is going to give a shit whether the details released are realistic or believable.

...but I was assured by numerous idiots that the evidence against Hunter Biden was so air-tight, not only would he be in jail but the entire Biden administration would be removed from power by November!

Trumpsterfire on a roll

News Analysis: Trump delayed weapons to Ukraine and praised Putin. Did that trigger war?

"Trump in 2019 threatened to hold up weapons deliveries to Ukraine — caught even then in a simmering war with Russian proxies — unless Zelensky helped him dig up political dirt on rival Joe Biden."

As idiotic as he tends to be, I agree with Bolton on this point: Putin planned to attack Ukraine whenever the situation was best. Trump's sycophantic obsession with Putin actually obviated Putin's plan to attack Ukraine. It was clear that Trump would do whatever he could to weaken NATO and Ukraine, as well as forge closer ties with Russia. Every day of Trump's presidency made the environment better and better for attacking Ukraine. It was much more beneficial for Putin to see how far Trump would go on this route before attacking. It's like if he owned a stock and was watching the price skyrocket daily with no sign of stopping. Might as well wait to sell.

Pro-Trump group sent armed members door-to-door in Colorado to “intimidate” voters: Lawsuit

"The lawsuit alleges that the U.S. Election Integrity Plan — led by Shawn Smith, an ally of former Trump strategist Steve Bannon and MyPillow founder Mike Lindell — is sending armed members door-to-door in areas with large numbers of voters of color, questioning people about how they voted and taking photographs of their homes."

It’s actually worse than the title sounds:

"Sometimes armed and donning badges to present an appearance of government officiality, USEIP agents interrogate voters about their addresses, whether they participated in the 2020 election, and — if so — how they cast their vote," the complaint says. "It is reported that multiple agents have claimed to be from 'the county,' and have, without any evidence, falsely accused the residents of casting fraudulent ballots."

The voting rights groups say the group's efforts to seek out areas where they believe voter fraud occurred has largely focused on high-density housing areas and communities experiencing a growth in the number of minority voters.

Yes, much worse:

The lawsuit alleges that the U.S. Election Integrity Plan — led by Shawn Smith, an ally of former Trump strategist Steve Bannon and MyPillow founder Mike Lindell — is sending armed members door-to-door in areas with large numbers of voters of color, questioning people about how they voted and taking photographs of their homes.

Of course it's in areas with large numbers of minority voters, and there is an implicit threat in taking pictures of people's houses after accusing them of committing a crime.

Trump Is Guilty of ‘Numerous’ Felonies, Prosecutor Who Resigned Says

"One of the senior Manhattan prosecutors who investigated Donald J. Trump believed that the former president was “guilty of numerous felony violations” and that it was “a grave failure of justice” not to hold him accountable, according to a copy of his resignation letter.

The prosecutor, Mark F. Pomerantz, submitted his resignation last month after the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, abruptly stopped pursuing an indictment of Mr. Trump."

A criminal businessman/actor and FORMER PRESIDENT breaks laws repeatedly but because he has such a devoted cult following, and rich interests wanting to use him, we won’t go after him.

I don’t care if the mob comes, then they will be put down by lawful authority. We cannot throw out our system and laws out of fear of a mob. If so, corruption has won, the republic has fallen. Why? Because any grifter or devious politician that is smarter than trump now realizes they can get away with anything with the mob of their side.

This is how republics fall. Because we are toothless and afraid of the cost of enforcing our own laws. The next guy will be much smarter than trump

Mo Brooks says Trump asked him to 'immediately' remove Biden from office and illegally hold a new presidential election

"President Trump asked me to rescind the 2020 elections, immediately remove Joe Biden from the White House, immediately put President Trump back in the White House, and hold a new special election for the presidency," Brooks said in a statement responding to Trump's withdrawal of his endorsement of Brooks' US Senate campaign.

How has Trump not been indicted yet?

There’s about 60 million people who thought that was a completely rational response to the election. That’s the scariest part.

New research on Trump voters: They're not the sharpest tools in the box

"Recent research by Darren Sherkat, a professor of sociology at Southern Illinois University, demonstrates that America's democracy crisis may be even more intractable than the above evidence suggests. In his recent article "Cognitive Sophistication, Religion, and the Trump Vote," which appeared in the January 2021 edition of Social Science Quarterly, Sherkat examined data from the 2018 General Social Survey and concluded that there are substantial negative differences between the thinking processes and cognition of white Trump voters, as shown in the 2016 presidential election, as compared to other voters who supported Hillary Clinton or another candidate, or who did not vote at all."

Donald Trump is literally world famous for cheating on every wife he’s ever had and cheating his contractors. Anyone who believes him when he claims to be looking out for their best interests is sufficiently dense that we really don’t need a study to confirm how dense they are.

Gullible? Check. Self centered? Check. Jingoistic? Check. “Proudly” ignorant? Discount double check.

Russian Asset Tulsi Gabbard

Tulsi Gabbard labeled a "Russian asset" for pushing U.S. biolabs in Ukraine claim

"Former Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard has been condemned as a "traitor" and accused of being a "Russian asset" for comments her detractors said lent credibility to Kremlin propaganda that U.S.-funded laboratories are working on bio weapons in Ukraine. Gabbard had asserted, accurately, that the U.S. funds bio labs in Ukraine, not bio weapons labs."

Gabbard is an asset. She has a regular rotation on fox news reciting anti Biden, pro Russia talking points, was a headlining speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference (the premier Republican PAC), is repeating pro-kremlin propeganda on a daily basis... it gets worse the more you dig.

People thought Jill Stein was left wing until they realized what was actually going on.

Mitt Romney accuses Tulsi Gabbard of ‘treasonous lies’ that ‘may cost lives’ over Russia’s Ukraine invasion

"Utah Sen Mitt Romney fiercely criticised former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii on Sunday and suggested that her remarks about the existence of so-called “US biolabs” in Ukraine would result in people being killed."

WTF is it with these stooges supporting Putin? Let's get this in plain black and white - Russia is attacking Ukraine, period. Russians are killing Ukrainian civilians, period. Any other bullshit is just that, bullshit and attempts for individuals to get attention at the expense of people getting killed.

Tulsi Gabbard demands Romney resign after calling her a "treasonous liar"

In a series of posts, Gabbard doubled down on her claim and said that Romney should provide proof that it isn't true. She also said that if he can't do so, he should "apologize and resign from the Senate.

I don't know if just saying whatever you want then demanding others to disprove you is a good strategy.

Accused Russian Agent Gave to One Politician: Tulsi Gabbard

"Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii and 2020 presidential dark horse candidate, has long perplexed U.S. officials and observers with her seemingly inexplicable pro-Russian positions. And a new development this week is sure to reinforce the half-jokes that Gabbard is a “Russian asset”; as it turns out, her campaign took money from one."

Conservatives pile on as Tulsi Gabbard named "most influential" spreader of disinformation Rep . Adam Kinzinger has called Gabbard's remarks '' actual Russian propaganda

"Republicans are attacking former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for spreading "Russian propaganda" after she posted a video claiming that the U.S. is funding and operating bioweapons labs in Ukraine. "

How gasoline prices work

‘Let me give you the facts’: Psaki pushes back on Fox News reporter’s questions about rising gas prices

"White House press secretary Jen Psaki used a contentious question-and-answer session with a Fox News correspondent to refute a string of right-wing media tropes Republicans have used to blame President Joe Biden’s energy policies for recent high gas prices."

The oil and gas industry will post record profits, like most industries at the moment. Companies are realizing that people here are divided and brainwashed enough to be taken advantage of to new, unheard of extremes.

They know people are gonna blame the president cause most Americans are too lazy to do their homework and see why gas prices are actually rising. Right now it’s all corporate profiteering. We haven’t stopped importing Russian oil and the gas your paying for today was usually bought a few weeks or months ago. The higher bent crude prices aren’t affecting the cost of gasoline being bought now but the cost of making it now. Companies are betting on it getting more expensive so they’re raising prices at the pump. This is really how inflation works; it’s not that it cost more so you raise prices, it’s that you expect it to cost more so you raise prices. Inflation is proactive not reactionary.

The gas shit drives me nuts. If there is a small ripple in the market executives say " we have to raise prices because it will cost more to buy in the future, it doesn't matter that we have tons of supply that we bought cheap." Then after a spike and the markets dropping like crazy its " we paid a lot for this so we still need to charge more because it cost more." consumers never get a break its just a continued extraction of money so they(big oil) can make record profits.

Much of the price increase is due to supply and demand. Pandemic hits: Demand drops, Price drops, production drops. Pandemic restrictions dropping: Demand increase, price increases, production still lagging behind.

Startup and building the labor force back up are probably the big hurdles to getting production back up to speed. Keep in mind that last hurricane season walloped quite a few plants too so there is that to contend with as well.

It would be great if they could just produce 10x what we need and hold it in storage but gas has a shelf life (about 3 months on average) not to mention the hazards of storing that much fuel.

It’s a free market. Oil and Gas companies ramp up domestic production when the economics make sense as the price goes up. And even then they can still sell it to whomever they want. There is no gaurantee the oil goes into the domestic market. That goes on for too long and Opec opens the tap, kills the price, and tanks the industry again. wash, rinse, repeat.

Blaming the government and the president is pretending we have a nationalized system. Is that what they want? Pretty UnAmerican.

Pro Putin Trump again

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton says 'Putin was waiting' for Trump to withdraw the United States from NATO in his second term

"Former National Security Advisor John Bolton said on Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin was waiting for former President Donald Trump to withdraw the United States from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization if he had won a second term."

It's not just the amount of voters who'll vote to elect him. The amount of craziness Trump's constituency is willing to perform to get their guy in power has to be considered. GOP is the minority party. In local elections, Republicans can gerrymander and suppress. But at the national level, they cannot win ‘organically.’

We're staring down the barrel of a soft coup right now with voters' rights being trampled upon by state legislatures—what Republicans have the tightest grip on. If Manchin & Sinema continue to block the Biden, we are very likely to sink into a quasi dictatorial system this November.

"I think it went very badly," said Bolton. "It was hard to have discussions on geostrategic issues when the president's main interest was getting... Rudy Giuliani in to see [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky so they could go find Hillary Clinton's computer server.

I wonder if the whole "Ukraine has the secrets on your opponents" was something Putin put in trump's head, to make trump not like Ukraine. It is already clear that Putin was using trump to prep for this invasion, and the Ukrainian connection has come up in tons of political stories in the last 5-6 years.

Pence hits Trump: No room in GOP for 'apologists for Putin'

"Former Vice President Mike Pence urged Republicans to move on from the 2020 election and declared that “there is no room in this party for apologists for Putin” as he further cemented his break from former President Donald Trump."

Apart from the 8 gop senators that were summoned to russia on july 4th for a secret meeting that nobody knows what was discussed.

Ah now they're all speaking up when the Russian cash stops flowing.

"If I do this, what do I have to lose?": New documents show Trump feared no consequences for a coup

"There is one simple reason why Donald Trump orchestrated his coup — one which led to a violent insurrection on January 6, 2021: He didn't think he'd ever face consequences for doing so. "

A failed coup that goes unpunished is just practice. We must insist on justice, or we will lose our country to people that want a Trump dictatorship, in a cold blooded literal sense.

And to this date he is correct. Fuckface is still spouting off, still tapped into the stream of money coming from his supporters, still being defended by politicians, still being let off the hook…

Guy doesn’t know what a consequence is. Consequence is probably not even in his lexicon. The concept is completely alien to him.

Trump withheld aid from Ukraine

Trump withheld aid from Ukraine and frequently bashed NATO, despite what he's now claiming amid Russia's unprovoked war

"Former President Donald Trump continues to push a revisionist history when it comes to how he approached Ukraine and NATO while in the White House.

Trump, who has repeatedly mischaracterized how NATO functions and is funded, in a new statement on Monday said, "I hope everyone is able to remember that it was me, as President of the United States, that got delinquent NATO members to start paying their dues, which amounted to hundreds of billions of dollars.""

Frequently bashed NATO? Trump did more than that. Trump also discussed pulling the US out of NATO with his administration not once, but multiple times.

Trump also refused to affirm article 5 of NATO, which states members must come to the aid of another if they are attacked, which is the core of NATO! Trump eventually did a 180 on this when he started to take political heat for it.

Trump was, and always will be, a puppet for Putin.

Trump praised Putin constantly, called him a "strong leader", has peddled statements like "he's done a really great job outsmarting our country" (source)

Trump dismissed and cast doubt about Russian hacking, particularly when the U.S determined that Russia hacked the DNC in 2016, while ironically enough, he encouraged Russian cyber attacks on national TV saying, "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing," (source)

When addressing Russian election interference and cyber attacks, Trump proclaimed "I don't see any reason why it would be Russia" after speaking directly with Putin, defending Russia and trusting Putin over our own intelligence agencies. Later he "corrected" himself, claiming that he meant to say "wouldn't" instead of would (source)

Trump suggested the U.S. work directly with Russia on cybersecurity (source)

Almost directly after the 2016 election, Trump sought to weaken U.S. sanctions on Russia, while he was even open to lifting sanctions (source)

Trump dismissed the notion that Putin was a "killer", downplaying the idea that Putin resorts to using violence and oppressive tactics to crush political opponents. He defended Putin, rationalizing his ruthless despotism in the process, declaring, "There are a lot of killers. Do you think our country is so innocent?" (source)

Trump shared highly classified U.S. intelligence with Russian officials in the Oval Office in 2017 (source)

Trump repeated Kremlin talking points related to the Russian annexation of Crimea, reiterating things like, "The people of Crimea, from what I've heard, would rather be with Russia than where they were." (source)

Trump constantly attacked NATO, aligning himself with Putin (source)

Trump thanked Putin for expelling hundreds of U.S. diplomats as a retaliation for sanctions (source)

Trump imposed tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum while Republicans were working on a deal with Oleg Deripaska, one of Putin’s most trusted oligarchs, on an aluminum plant in Kentucky (source)

According to congressional testimony, Trump declined to publicly condemn a Russian attack against Ukrainian military vessels in November 2018, even though the State Department prepared a statement for him (source)

Trump congratulated and gave legitimacy to Putin's re election win in 2018, a victory said to "lack genuine competition" (source)

Sergei Skripal, an ex Russian spy that defected to the UK, was poisoned. Sanctions were announced, Trump attempted to rescind them, while asserting that the U.S. was being "too tough on Putin" (source)

When congress passed new sanctions against Russia in 2017, Trump was very reluctant to signing the bill, and probably wouldn't have signed it if the bill didn't pass with veto-proof majorities in both houses (source)

In 2017 it was reported that Trump was considering returning spy bases to Russia (source)

Trump praised and highlighted pro-Russian leaders in Europe. Far right European leaders with close ties to Putin. He even met a Kremlin ally at the Whitehouse (source)

When Trump withdrew troops from Syria, it gave Russia and Putin an opportunity to control abandoned U.S. outposts and checkpoints (source)

Trump froze U.S. aide for Ukraine in it's war against Russian proxies. He repeated Russian disinformation surrounding Ukraine as well (source)

Trump made requests to bring Russia back into the G7 and invited Putin to the 2020 G7 summit (source)

Trump Takes Credit For NATO — And Is Promptly Reminded Of A Few Pesky Facts

"“I hope everyone is able to remember that it was me, as President of the United States, that got delinquent NATO members to start paying their dues, which amounted to hundreds of billions of dollars. There would be no NATO if I didn’t act strongly and swiftly. Also, it was me that got Ukraine the very effective anti-tank busters (Javelins) when the previous Administration was sending blankets. Let History so note!” Trump bragged."

History has already noted that the thing about NATO members not paying their dues is false. Nor did they owe the US money.

He also cut US contributions to NATO and threated to withdraw the US. Tried to mend relationships with Russia, but NATO said no because Russia did the exact same thing in Crimea (read the right column, it also happened around the same time of year) they're trying to do now in Ukraine.

Trump also resisted the sale of Javelins.

It wasn't 'just blankets' The Obama admin sent the $250 million assistance package that the Trump administration announced (then froze and later unfroze) included many of the same items that were provided under Obama, including medical equipment, night vision gear and counter-artillery radar.
