Finally Some action against law breaking law makers

George Santos calls federal charges a ‘witch hunt’ and refuses to resign following arrest

George Santos described criminal charges against him as a “witch hunt” in a defiant press conference following his arrest on Wednesday.

The New York congressman spoke outside a federal courthouse after being arraigned on charges of fraud, theft of public funds and money laundering.

“It’s a witch hunt,” he told a crowd of reporters. “I’m gonna fight my battle, I’m gonna deliver, I’m gonna fight the witch hunt, I’m gonna take care of clearing my name,” he said, adding that he was planning to run for re-election.

Wow, so now he's claiming to be a witch too? Add it to the list right after volleyball star.

Oddly enough, it was actually George Santos who wrote "Agatha All Along" for Wandavision.

Don’t you know? George Santos was also in the garden of Eden! He tried to stop the snake before it could get to Eve but he was too slow. That’s why he is repenting for all our sins. Also he created oxygen.

I heard he actually was on the board of directors with God for the Creation project.

Shame is dead. There’s no such thing as Republicans who get busted just bowing out anymore. Everything is a witch hunt or a political hit. This slope does not end well when society is gaslit and forced to waste time on these people’s bullshit, over and over and over again.

But yet again:

George Santos voting on employment fraud bill – 24 hours after being arrested for employment fraud

Rep George Santos returned to the Capitol on Thursday following his arrest a day earlier for unemployment fraud – just in time to vote on a bill dealing with that exact topic.

It was a perfectly scripted moment to cap off a wild two-day media circus around his indicment in New York on 13 criminal counts. He has pleaded not guilty, and vowed to fight the charges in court.

“He’s innocent until proven guilty even tho it’s it’s obvious he’s guilty as fuck.”

  • GOP on Biden: we have no actual proof he's guilty but we feel like he's guilty so we're going to continue treating him like he's guilty.
  • GOP on Santos: c'mon guys, I know we have mountains of pretty irrefutable evidence here but innocent until proven guilty!

A Republican in Texas resigned after it was found out that he supplied one of his staffers with alcohol and had sex with her (she’s 19)

By rule he still had to be expelled by the House, which they did. It was the first expulsion in the state House since 1927
