Rafael "Ted" Cruz 2024

Ted Cruz under fire for using anti-gay slur as he continues attacks on US military advert

A spokeswoman for Cruz responded to Stars and Stripes. “Sen. Cruz passionately supports the brave men and women of the United States military and has repeatedly expressed concerns that Democrat politicians, left wing bureaucrats, and the media are politicizing our armed forces to promote a fringe woke agenda based on identity politics,” Erin Perrine wrote in an emailed statement. “Our military should be focused on winning wars, and we endanger our national security and our servicemembers when they focus on anything else.”

He has a plan and that is to cause divide within the ranks of the military. This is getting people ready to use the military in elections. These "Patriots" will turn on their unsuspecting fellow Americans including other soldiers. Divide and Conquer is a strategy as old as war. Let's hope Biden gets these assholes out of our military before it's too late.

Ted Cruz roasted for saying military full of “pansies.” This guy wouldn’t defend his own wife.

"Trump made derogatory comments about Cruz's wife, Heidi, but the senator still cozied up to the former president and became one of his staunchest supporters."

This is getting truly weird. Obviously Cruz cares about how he's perceived, that's why he publicly stuck his tongue all the way up Trump's ass. Still, I honestly don't understand these recent publicity exercises. Then again, I have no idea what goes on in the heads of the MAGA crowd. Cruz looks like he's testing them to see just how much assholery and how many insults to conventional Republican values he can get away with. Apparently there's no limit.

Army leaders praise ‘superstar’ soldier after Sen. Ted Cruz criticizes her recruitment video

Yes, Ted Cruz owes this girl a personal apology. This is a real young woman, who graduated at the top of her class in HS, and chose to raise her hand and enlist in the US Army -- kids like her, "Gen Z-ers" like her, they are part of our military's solution, not the problem.

Ted Cruz roundly criticized after sharing Russian propaganda

"GOP Sen. Ted Cruz received a lot of criticism after sharing a Russian propaganda video on Twitter in an apparent attempt to criticize the idea of a 'woke, emasculated' U.S. military."

And Texas is a huge military state. Ft. Hood, Ft. Bliss, Fort Sam Houston, a shit ton of Air Force bases. And also one of the country's largest National Guard organizations.

I don't get how he keeps getting elected. He shits on our military, kisses the ass of the guy that called his wife ugly and his father a killer, skips out of the state during an ice storm, etc.

How can any self respecting Texan say, this guy really represent what we stand for.

Why it matters that Ted Cruz endorsed Russian propaganda (again)

"In 2019, Ted Cruz faced some pushback after endorsing Russian propaganda for partisan purposes. In 2021, he's done it again."

"A couple of years ago, U.S. officials invested a fair amount of time reminding American elected officials about the dangers of promoting Russian disinformation. In fact, the New York Times reported in November 2019 that U.S. intelligence professionals specifically informed senators and their aides that Russia was engaged in a lengthy campaign "to essentially frame" Ukraine for Moscow's attack against our 2016 elections."

While Ted being a smug troll wouldn't exactly be an unusual event, I think the answer to all this Russia love conservatives have been doing the last few years has a simpler and more straightforward answer: They actually like Russia.

The days of Communism are long gone, and now Russia is basically famous for its entrenched business oligarchy and its government-enforced socially conservative political landscape. All things American conservatives are well-known fans of.

That plus the fact its also well-known that Republican patriotism has always only been skin-deep, it kinda starts to makes sense that they'd warm up to Russia. Its pretty good example of the kind of place they think they'd want to live/rule over.

Russia is to conservatives what the Nordic countries are to progressives. And they are starting to express that in the fashion typical of them: culture war nonsense. Except nows its Russian and American right wing culture vs American liberal culture.

He’s trying to set himself up a presidential campaign in 2024 by mimicking Trump.
