Trump told RNC chair he was leaving GOP to create new party, says new book
"n an angry conversation on his final day as president, Donald Trump told the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee he was leaving the GOP and creating his own political party -- and that he didn't care if the move would destroy the Republican Party, according to a new book by ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl."
So it's pretty obvious that Trump doesn't give a shit about the GOP, and only cares about their ability to provide access to fundraising... and the GOP doesn't give a shit about Trump other than his ability to get out the GOP vote, and fundraise.
I wish GOP voters could see that for what it is, but they're too braindead.
"But, more significant, the RNC threatened to render Trump's most valuable political asset worthless," Karl writes, referring to "the campaign's list of the email addresses of forty million Trump supporters."
"It's a list Trump had used to generate money by renting it to candidates at a steep cost," says the book. "The list generated so much money that party officials estimated that it was worth about $100 million."
It is Trump's list, and he makes a ton of money renting it to other GOP candidates. If he left, the GOP was going to stop allowing GOP candidates to rent it from him, so it wouldn't make him that money anymore.

He’s scared of losing the only money he had to fund these asinine lawsuits because it’s not his money. He’s definitely broke. His donations are maintaining his debt payments and he has nothing else.
The only bank that holds a note is Deutchebank.
I can’t imagine another western bank who’d have touched him in the last three decades.
I listened to a podcast called the asset. It’s with a bunch of letter agency and state dept people. They said sometime in the 90s it became strange that trump was able to still build in Manhattan bc no banks would go near him and other developers wanted nothing to do with him because bankers thought he was a cartoon character. Yeah that’s been a thing for a couple decades at least. Only deutche bank would loan to him and that’s where Justice Kennedy’s son was director of the dept that gave trump his loans. And later there was a whistleblower who claimed to have papers showing that Russian oligarchs guaranteed those loans.
WAY before the election, Trump’s idiot son made a comment to a golf magazine about being backed by Russia.
“So when I got in the cart with Eric,” Dodson says, “as we were setting off, I said, ‘Eric, who’s funding? I know no banks—because of the recession, the Great Recession—have touched a golf course. You know, no one’s funding any kind of golf construction. It’s dead in the water the last four or five years.’ And this is what he said. He said, ‘Well, we don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.’ I said, ‘Really?’ And he said, ‘Oh, yeah. We’ve got some guys that really, really love golf, and they’re really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time.’ Now that was three years ago, so it was pretty interesting.

When Trump bought Mar-A-Lago, he saw a coat of arms belonging to Joseph Edward Davies, husband to the owner of the estate, Marjorie Merriweather Post.
Trump liked soo much he just took it as his own coat of arms.
Well, technically he didn’t just take it, he changed the colors from red and white to a gaudy black and gold, he added a knight above the crest (for no reason, those are supposed to be awarded) and literally, I kid not, eliminated the word “integritas” from the banner below the shield, and replaced it with “TRUMP.”
You can’t make that up.
Plagiarizing someone else’s coat of arms is as shallow as it is hilarious, especially when you literally remove the word “integrity.”
Trump plasters that all over his golf courses and hotels playing it off like it’s real and not someone else’s thing he put his name on. (Recurring theme in his life).
But the interesting part brings us back to Scotland. Scotland takes heritage seriously. Clans, Tartans, and Coats of Arms are diligently recorded and protected.
Well, they made him change his family crest at his estates in Scotland since they’re not fucking his.
Rather than admit defeat, he unironically maintains two family crests, one “main” one that he plagiarized and uses everywhere, and another one he uses exclusively in Scotland because they won’t let him use the other one.
