Romney, smiling, said that he would also be "happy" to support a "number of" the Democrats who have entered the 2024 presidential race, though did not name names.

Romney has his positive points...which are outweighed by his negative points. Still, he's probably about the best you're going to get out of the treasonous, anti-American Republicans these days.

When a true conservative like Romney says you should vote for a Dem if Trump is the GOP choice, it means the death of the GOP.

That would be great if most of the Republican Party didn’t see his stance as an endorsement of their disgusting views. Modern Republicanism is a disgusting excuse for a political stance. Anyone who believes in it should be ashamed of their views, and understand that they are a weight on our societal advancement, and the shit that prevents us from making advancements as a species. Conservatism is a cancer, and people who still believe in its merits are stunted intellectually. If you’re a conservative, know that you can be better. You should be better if you care at all for our advancement as a species.

Republicans Trip Over Their Own Assholes Trying to Take Down Hunter Biden

If you’re a person living in the year 2023, you very likely know that Republicans have long been obsessed with the idea that the Biden family comprise a vast criminal enterprise—and that Joe Biden, as the conspiracy holds, is at the very top. They’ve desperately attempted to make this idea stick ever since Donald Trump tried and failed to get Ukraine to smear Biden and his son in exchange for military aid. Naturally, this thirst to prove that the president is a criminal mastermind—and somehow, as they claim, mentally incapacitated—has only grown since the GOP won its razor-thin majority in the House. But unsurprisingly, their push to impeach him has thus far uncovered nothing in the way of actual evidence, as Republicans in both the House and Senate will tell you. Also? Hunter Biden appears to have called them on their bluff. 

Because they don't actually want to take down Hunter Biden, they just want to drag this out until the 2024 elections so they can keep using it as political ammo against his dad.

Also calling out the absurdity of the situation was Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who wrote on X: “The reason GOP don’t want a public hearing on Hunter Biden is because @OversightDems have hoisted them by their own petards in every public hearing this year. They’re scared of getting humiliated for not having an actual case (again), so they need to hide.”
