Trumpster Toddler Tantrum

Trump Was Hoarding Some of America’s Most Sensitive Secrets, Letter Reveals

The National Archives identified documents classified as “special access program materials,” in a trove of more than 700 pages of documents retrieved from former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in January, according to a letter sent by the Archives to Trump’s lawyers.

This trove of documents, separate from the stash of materials seized by the FBI earlier this month, was reviewed by archivists tasked with storing and cataloging materials from the Trump presidency in January. The trove of documents was not made available to federal investigators until after a series of negotiations with Trump’s legal team.

Hillary testified for 12 hours in front of congress over buttery males, Trump couldn't make it 12 minutes in front of congress over these documents.

Trump's team released this. The seem to be trying to find the limit of what they can do before DoJ has no choice but to arrest a former President in the interest of national security.

That’s probably what the GOP wants as well.

Trump out of the picture, and a martyr so they can hold on to his supporters without dealing with his insanity.

Trump’s Behavior Strengthens Case Against Him

Should former presidents who are believed to have committed crimes, either in office or afterward, be indicted?

It is never simply the case that prosecutors in the U.S. indict anyone who they believe is guilty of crime, as my Bloomberg Opinion colleague Clive Crook has pointed out. For one, it’s misconduct to indict without confidence that a conviction will follow.

Saying they planted evidence made it pretty clear.

Don't forget that Trump declassified all the evidence they planted.

He had a standing order to plant declassified evidence that belongs to him.

The evidence should be more then enough (hopefully). His behaviour has been absurd for decades.

he's already started the legal process to slow roll this, by clogging things up with legal challenges. he's going to try holding off until the 2024 election, hoping that the White House will change hands and the next GOP selected AG can shut it down.

Trump described boxes of classified documents as 'mine' and swatted away White House officials who tried to return documents from Kim Jong Un and Barack Obama, report says

Former President Donald Trump resisted returning official materials from his presidency as the National Archives and Records Administration spent much of 2021 trying to retrieve the government property, including communications with the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and former President Barack Obama, The New York Times reported Monday.

Trump is made of crime. His entire being, every molecule of it, is crooked. He's a super spreader of felonies. And yet he has never spent an hour in jail, in the 70 years of his existence. It's enough to make a person lose faith in the system.

To this day I'll never understand the GOP's worship of this man. I don't get it. At all.

Bullies like to see other bullies in positions of authority, i.e. coaches, politics, law enforcement, military leadership, etc. It justifies their own bad behavior as acceptable and reaffirms their whole belief system.

Trump sues to block DOJ from reviewing materials FBI seized at Mar-a-Lago until watchdog appointed

Trump’s lawsuit, which suggests the Aug. 8 FBI raid was politically motivated, also asks that the Department of Justice be blocked from “further review of seized materials” from his Mar-a-Lago residence until the so-called special master is appointed to review the documents.

The FBI already has a filter team in place to separate out the material responsive to the warrant from extraneous... that's how the passports were found in the leatherbound box and returned to him.

This will be objected to by the DoJ and then rejected by the courts... and doesn't stop anything that has happened in the previous week.
